We want to make it as easy as possible for you to see the right clinician, at the right time. Here’s how you can book an appointment with us.

Urgent appointments

If you need to be seen today (Monday–Friday):

  • Call us on 01354 661922 during our opening hours
  • Or visit the surgery and speak to our reception team

Care Navigation for Urgent Appointments

When you contact us, we’ll ask what the nature of the call is. This is so we can make sure you are seen by the most suitable clinician.

Please remember:

  • Life threating Medical Emergency Call 999 in a
  • Mental Health Crisis / Suicidal thoughts Call 111 option 2 for the crisis team or present to your nearest A&E

Routine appointments

Ways to request a routine appointment:

We’ll respond within 3–5 working days to all routine requests

Need help? Don’t worry—just pop into the surgery or call reception and our team will be happy to guide you.

Please let us know:

When requesting an Urgent appointment, please tell us

  • If you need an interpreter
  • If you have any access or communication needs
  • If you would like a chaperone

Your appointment may take place:

  • Over the phone
  • Face-to-face at the surgery
  • By video call (this made by the Clinician decision if required)
  • By text or email (when appropriate)

Extended Access

We know it can sometimes be difficult to attend appointments during normal surgery hours. To help, we offer extended access appointments. These are telephone consultations with the GP’s and we offer appointments with the nursing team

Housebound patients

If you are housebound and cannot come to the surgery, we can arrange a home visit.

  • Please call us on 01354 661922 as soon after 8am as possible
  • All home visit requests must be received by 10.30am so we can triage and assess your needs for the same day. Please be aware we do use other services such as JET / District Nurses for home visits and you may not get someone from the surgery.

Cancelling an appointment

If you can’t make your appointment, please let us know so we can offer it to someone else.

You can cancel by

  • Using your SystmOnline account
  • Calling us on 01354 661922 (Option 2) during opening hours
  • Visiting the surgery and speaking to our reception team

Vulnerable patients

We recognise not all our patients will be able to use the on line tool. We as a practice will help those patients that fall into this cohort by offering appointments as normal.
